Today a guy completely reminded me of everything I expected my ex to be. It was creepy the amount he reminded me of him from when we met. He was smart and driven and had his life all figured out and this life included God, that&#8217;s where my ex was four years ago; yet now he is a drug dealer who has no job aspiration and living back in our hometown. I know that he was put into my life to show me the path to becoming an addiction counselor, which I realize is truly my calling in life, it just sucks to realize that helping him isn&#8217;t part of that plan. While I in no way want him back in my life romantically (I am beyond happy with the guy God put in my life instead), its just disappointing to know that someone who had such potential just let it all go because no one believed in him and no one thought he would amount to anything, not even himself. Even worse is that I will never be able to make him realize that or help him.
